Construct a CrabGloo

(Insulation of styrofoam walls you can decorate)

Materials:

  • Scissors or a cutting knife

  • Styrofoam sheets or an old Esky, cleaned

  • Materials to decorate the styrofoam (eg. Paint, Markers, Glitter, Scrap Materials etc)

  • Sticky Tape or Marking Tape

Method

  1. Cut the 'walls' of your CrabGloo with the help of an adult, to the size of each wall

  2. When you have cut the Styrofoam to cover each wall, including the front, decorate it in the method of your choice. You can paint, colour, collage, etc to decorate and beautify your CrabGloo which will help keep the temperature within your crabitat more stable.

  3. Get some help to hold the back and sides of your CrabGloo walls in place and tape to secure.
