It is a high protein source which is important for a
hermit crab to have a healthy well balanced diet. It is
easily found in most pet stores and can be purchased online.
Our hermit crabs really seem to enjoy this food, which
is an added plus considering it is good for them too.

It has a fairly strong odor, which is not really a pleasant
smell. It is actually dried flies, not for the squeamish
crabber. Must supplement other foods to ensure well balanced
diet.
