ZooMed ReptiTemp Rheostat
Description
This
devise allows you to turn your pet's heaters up in cold
winter and down in the hot summer. You can manually control
rock heaters, reflector spot bulbs, ceramic heat emitters,
and other heating devices with a combined total wattage
of no more than 150 watts. Excellent for use with non-thermostatically
controlled reptile heating devices such as rock heaters,
heat caves, heated branches, and all overhead incandescent
bulbs. Can be used with one or two heating devices that
do not exceed 150W in combination..
Note: This device operates in a similar fashion to the
dimmer switches for home light fixtures and to the volume
control on your stereo. As a result, it will simply increase
or decrease the current to your heating devices. Monitoring
of the devices must be done with standard habitat thermometers.
If you need to have a device that automatically controls
habitat temperature or a higher wattage, please use the
Repti-Temp Thermostat.
