I purchased a 20# bag for $16 at a local store, but
I have seen it on the internet for $12...after you pay
for shipping though, it's worth it to seek it out locally.
All natural, mineralized sand from the bottom of the
ocean. Crabs love it! According to company, it is ok to
bake or boil, because there are no color addtives, yet
the color is a salmon-pink and very attractive.

| Pros |
Texture is great; color is wonderful; minerals are fine,
yet present. When sand is wet, it becomes a bit darker,
so wet sand is easily detectable.

Can't think of any except if you compared the price
to playsand it is expensive. I feel it outdoes gravel
because it is finer and had no color/paint. It outdoes
playsand because it is natural, and has minerals which
are needed for healthy crabs.
